Helping today’s culture see sex as more than just a moment of passion and re.think attitudes aND MINDSETS ABOUT SEX

How much are we willing to let the culture take?

Movies, music, social media, and even peers are misinforming our youth about sex.

Contrary to the truth, the culture tells teens that maturing means the freedom to engage in sexual activity with no consideration of the physical, mental, and emotional implications of these actions.

But what are we doing about it?

It’s time to take back the hearts and minds of our youth.

Adults of influence–parents, youth leaders, and teachers–live scattered lives with their attention divided among many roles and responsibilities. Additionally, parents and other adults may feel unqualified, unequipped, or embarrassed to discuss sex with teens.

We understand your commitment to your children and to the children you influence. We understand your desire to minimize the harm of being uninformed or even misinformed.

Further, you want to maximize positive, healthy experiences and interactions and speak Truth into the hearts and minds of the next generation.

But the stakes are high–sex outside of marriage takes a toll.

  • regret and emotional trauma
  • mental health impacts
  • STDs
  • pregnancy

What would it take for teens

  • to be informed by the truth to make choices that will help them avoid these outcomes
  • to thoughtfully consider the consequences of sexual activity
  • to choose to abstain
  • to promote their overall well-being now
  • to protect their future well-being and have healthier relationships

It takes re.thinking.

re.thinking the notion that if we don’t talk about it, they won’t know about it or do it.

re.thinking the messages the culture sends: that sex is a casual moment of passion.

re.thinking the messages you give about sex to pre-teens and teens under your care by remaining silent.

re.thinking the mindsets and attitudes already in play in the minds of youth

re.thinking the role you play in educating the next generation on matters related to sex.

re.thinking the danger of not giving teens the tools to make healthy, high-integrity choices.

It takes re.think.

re.think has carefully-developed programs for teens and adults that have influence on their lives.
We advise adults on how to guide teens under their care, helping them help young people be informed and intentional about sexual activity during their teen years and beyond. We provide workshops and empower you with the tools to guide teens to make healthy, high-integrity sexual choices.
And we provide classroom and youth group presentations to educate students about sexual risk avoidance.
Our program is designed to help you counter the culture that is misguiding teens about sex.
